How a Call Works

Every call is personal — not scripted, not rushed, and never robotic. Here's what you can expect.

Before the first call

We'll ask you a few questions about your loved one: their name, what they enjoy talking about, topics to avoid, and anything that would help the call feel familiar from the very first "hello." Think of it as a small handoff of care, not a form to fill out.

During the call

Each call is a real conversation, not a checklist. Depending on what your loved one enjoys, that might mean:

There's no timer ticking in the background and no sense of being rushed through a script. If your loved one wants to talk for the full time about their rose bushes, that's exactly what we'll do.

After the call

Depending on the plan you choose, you'll receive a weekly or bi-monthly summary of the calls — how they seemed, what we talked about, anything that stood out. You stay in the loop without having to ask.

If something feels off

If we notice smaller changes — a bit more confused than usual, seeming down, or just not quite themselves — we'll let you know via email or text, depending on your plan and preferences. In a true emergency, like a fall or a medical crisis, we'll call you directly right away.
