Frequently Asked Questions

An elderly woman reading a message on her phone

What if my parent doesn't want to talk that day?

That's completely okay. Some days are quieter than others, and we follow their lead. A short, gentle call is still a meaningful one — we're not aiming for a certain length, we're aiming for genuine connection.

What if there's a true emergency during a call — like a fall or a medical crisis?

In a genuine emergency, we will call you directly right away, since email or text isn't fast enough when minutes matter.

What if you just notice my parent seems a little off, but it's not an emergency?

If we notice smaller changes — a bit more confused than usual, seeming down, or something that doesn't feel like their normal self — we'll let you know via email or text, depending on your plan and preferences, so you're aware without it feeling alarming.

Can I listen in on a call or get updates?

You won't be on the call itself — the relationship works best when your loved one feels free to speak openly, the way they would with a trusted friend. Depending on the plan you choose, you'll get weekly or bi-monthly summary calls.

What happens if we want to cancel?

You can cancel anytime — if it's a yearly plan, you'll be reimbursed for what you haven't used.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes. If you're not satisfied within your first 7 days, we'll refund the remainder of your subscription — no hard feelings. We want you to feel confident, not locked in.

What will you talk about with my parent?

Whatever matters to them. We ask ahead of time about their interests, favorite topics, and anything to steer clear of — and we build from there. Many families also let us know if their loved one enjoys scripture, prayer, or reflection, and we're glad to include that.

Is my parent's information kept private?

Yes. Anything shared during calls or in setting up the account is kept confidential and is only used to make your loved one's calls more personal and meaningful — never shared or sold.

How often are the calls?

You can choose 3 days a week or 6 days a week, depending on what fits your loved one's needs.

How long does each call last?

Each call is about 10–15 minutes — long enough for real conversation, without being overwhelming or tiring for your loved one.

How much does it cost?

For a limited time this August, we're offering launch pricing: $89/month for 3 calls a week, or $139/month for 6 calls a week. Subscribe on the pricing page to lock in these rates, then pick your call time right after checkout.

Who will be calling my parent?

I personally make every call.
